Bee Leaf in Bags LLC came to fruition in 2007, the result of a convergence of "green guilt" and rather good ideas. Owner Devika Chinapen has created a company that designs products which are attractive and useful, while contributing to incremental improvements in sustainability.

It is becoming more and more recognized that while being tremendously useful, plastic and even paper bags are environmental detractors. We are all in differing stages of our understanding of the meaning of this, and in our attempts to reduce the negative impact. We hope that by providing alternatives that marry form, fashion and function, others will be encouraged to consider their own responses and contributions to the global effort around sustainability. One thing we know for sure….every little step forward will help.
